The Rules.
The Mission Board is for all members to use. You can create a mission for other members, or for others to go on with you! Just keep in mind these few rules...
i. Please be honest in ranking and reward.
Staff let you be in charge of rank and rewards, but be real about it. If you have a super easy mission with an automatic rank-up reward, staff will swoop in faster than a Braviary on the tail of a Buneary. Staff can and will edit the reward even if people are out in the middle of a mission, and will give the new reward at the end of it. So don't cause any of that. If it appears members can not give proper rewards staff will insert rewards instead. Let's not let that happen!
ii. Keep in mind Secret and Special Missions can only be posted by staff.
These two types of missions are only for staff to post because they can involve special, shiny, or Legendary Pokemon. Otherwise, you can post mission from any other rank and take them with your friends, or just have them there for others to post.
iii. The creator of a mission is the first poster in a group thread.
If the creator is using the mission with their friends, they are the first post. Then everyone else can decide which order to go in. The limit is four to five members. If you wish to encounter Pokemon that you need during this mission, please say so in the form with the proper term used.
iv. Anyone can take a mission.
Even a Mafia member can take a mission with a Ranger if they really want. Or a Researcher. The only difference is that that non-Ranger will not get rank-up rewards, but will get other rewards. If they want to take the mission alone, then sure! Why not?
v. Taking a mission requires posting.
When you see a mission you want to take, and the thread has no replies, feel free to post in there and say 'TAKING!' or something. Even if it does have replies, and you want to take the same mission alone or with another buddy, then post and say something like 'TAKING WITH [MEMBER NAME]' or 'TAKING ALONE!'. Every mission is going to be available as they are posted, and after a while they will be moved to Mission Archives located as a sub-board in this board. If you want to take that is in Archives, then feel free to ask staff to take it out!
vi. Staff heavy missions
These types of missions might take a while to go through, so it is wise to take a mission with a friend or two so your characters can bond and stuff while you wait on staff. After all, the more post you have, the better the mission will look and the more site currency you will get!
Make-A-Mission.
Please take note of all information for this form.
Username is where you place your site wide name, or the alias you use in the cbox.
Mission name is the name you give the mission. Post this name into the title of the thread as well.
Mission information can be very detailed or a 'secret'. Just make sure you have at least three or more sentences to give members an idea about the mission.
Mission Goal is what the goal is. This can be as simple as 'explore'.
Mission rank is anywhere from ★ - ★★★★.
Five stars are only for staff posted missions.
Area is where the mission is going to be.
Recommended rank means a Ranger rank that is recommended. However, everyone can take the mission no matter their rank or occupation. The only exception is staff's Secret Missions.
Reward is the reward at the end. Please be real about it. If you think this mission deserves an automatic rank-up and heft currency sum, then put that. However, keep in mind automatic rank-up is only one rank. Not four, not five, not infinite. Just one. Currency limit is 500.
Staff heavy is low, medium, or high. Low means a staff will only be summoned when they are needed to be in the thread to offer a Pokemon to bond with that has a needed field move. Medium means you would prefer them watching over the thread and only coming in when they see fit with an encounter. Heavy means staff will be taking the position of the bad-guy/another Ranger/wild Pokemon all at once. This is probably going to be very, very slow. Please note that single-person missions can not be low staff heavy. Because you are only one person. Even if a mission is marked low, then it was made to be a group mission. If you want to go solo, contact a staff member right away.
Once you fill out the form, then post a new thread with the mission name as the title, and also in the thread, with all information filled out.
