History
Poor, alone, and abused, Mirun grew up without much hope. He was refused schooling and had to work long hours before getting abused and starved by his father. Despite this, he managed to flee his abusive home in favor of a foster family. Under his new family, Mirun grew up rather simply and attended school. His best grades were in science and philosophy.
Once he was accepted to a university, Mirun attended medical school to learn about human and Pokemon medicine. He got a P.h.D. in both sciences and earned many more degrees, however, he was recruited as a Ranger for the Hoenn Region when he was very young.
Placed in the desert outpost, Mirun worked long hours out in the hot sun and soon learned how to handle horses in the hot sand. It wasn't long after he received an injury from a Salamance.
It was during a late patrol the dragon went into a fit of rage and attacked Mirun and the rest of his squad. Receiving several blows to the back and having a near-death encounter, Mirun soon developed Acute Stress Disorder. He recovered from it quickly, but sometimes wakes up with nightmares or tenses up at random times with flashbacks. Regardless of this, he doesn't have enough symptoms to have full blown PTSD, so his doctors say he has PTSD symptoms from time to time.
Along with this came a lot of insomnia after the accident. For a few years now, Mirun has had a lot of trouble falling asleep and will work during the hours he is awake or stare at nothing. After he was re-positioned to Ursa Major, Mirun developed a lot of stress problems which resulted in a few stress induced ticks.
Whenever he gets really stressed, which can be because of agitation or tiredness, his fingers will start twitching and he will stare at a wall anywhere from a second to an hour. Sadly, due to his new job, he has a history of going into stress induced fits which result in waking up screaming if he ever falls asleep and sometimes sudden burst of rage.
After a chewing out from the higher-ups about a failed run in the deserts, Mirun quickly developed a problem with eating enough. He doesn't have an eating disorder yet, but he forgets to eat many meals a day and won't notice until someone has pointed it out.
To this day, Mirun is on a concoction of different drugs and is trying to recover from his problems, but finds it increasingly difficult.

Black hair, onyx eyes, and ghostly pale skin is a horrible combination for a desert, but Mirun doesn't burn very quickly. He's a rather muscular man, especially in the hips and thighs, and doesn't even have a wrinkle.
He does, however, have heavy bags under his eyes most days, appears to be nothing but skin and bones, and has three faint scars on his back. Regardless, he doesn't look his age, something he is grateful for.
