Poke Moderators
◥
◤
What is a Poke Moderator?
A Poke Moderator is someone that isn't really staff but isn't really member, either. They are a mixture of both. Poke Moderators have OOC accounts with similar names that are used only for posting in people's threads as a Pokemon encounter or as an NPC character that a member wants to rp with for a mission.
To be clear: Poke Moderators are not moderators or staff. They are called Poke Moderators because they moderate wild Pokemon and NPC characters. This does not give them any rights to enforce the rules or to act as staff.
You can tell a Poke Moderator from staff because they have a gold username color.
Why should I want to be a Poke Moderator?
No real reason besides the fact you get to rp as a ton of different Pokemon in threads and as interesting NPC characters you get to create on the spot for others.
Maybe your threads are a little slow and you want to do something? What is there to do? Get onto your Poke Moderator account and help people with missions of course!
Not only that, but any money you make on your Poke Moderator account can be transferred to your account! (As long as the money comes from posting in threads and helping members with their missions. Being a wild Pokemon or NPC character, basically. If you post anywhere else, it won't count).
Being a Poke Moderator means more rping, more helping members with missions and character development, and more money! Wow!
But this job isn't all rainbows and sun-shine.
What will I be expected to do, exactly?
You will be expected to do the following:
i. Be a good member.
-We want our Poke Moderators to be helpful and kind people that, even without being staff, are willing to help guest, members, and each other. Be a star member of our community.
ii. Do as many mission post for others as you can.
-No one expects a Poke Moderator to do twenty missions in a day with others. Nor do we expect you to like every mission you go on with other members, however, we do expect Poke Moderators to do at least a few missions with other members that need assistance to complete theirs. Poke Moderators do not get rewards from missions like members, but they have the benefit of using their Poke Moderator account as another way to get more money for their other characters.
iii. Be helpful to each other.
-If Poke Moderators have trouble completing missions for other members or can't then we expect other Poke Moderators to come flying to the rescue to pick up the thread when the other Poke Moderator needs a break. Help each other, you are all in the same boat.
iv. Remain active on their character accounts too.
-There is no such thing as being 'only Poke Moderator' on this site. You must find a balance between being a Poke Moderator and having your own characters. While we aren't strict with activity, we don't want you to drop all your characters to be a Poke Moderator, or drop being a Poke Moderator for all your characters! It requires finding a balance.
What are all the perks?
The perks? Besides some extra spending money for the site? Well...
i. You get to help people with missions and be a great member.
ii. You get your own sub-board where you can discuss business with other Poke Moderators (that staff will monitor to ensure no one is getting a ton of work dumped on them).
iii. You get to play as a wild Pokemon (no Legendaries, shiny, or special Pokemon. Sorry. Admin only. Also Pokemon can't talk.)
iv. You get to create a new character every NPC mission and maybe even get an idea for a new character - after you already fleshed them out in actual threads.
v. You get to be gold.
vi. It comes with a cool name. 'Poke Moderator'. Just rolls off the tongue.
vii. You can quit at any time (by deleting your Poke Moderator account, but you can't rejoin the Poke Moderators at just any time).
viii. More money.
Those are all the perks of being a Poke Moderator.
Sounds sweet. How do I apply?
Good question!
You will need to PM both admins, Zero and Dew, with the form below filled out completely. Once you do that, sit tight! If staff accepts your application you will be assigned a Pokemon name for your new account. If it is denied, it is nothing personal! Either we have enough Poke Moderators or we don't have a need for any!
Be sure to read the disclaimer located below this form:
Disclaimer:
The admins of Rakuen have all rights to remove Poke Moderators for any reason and do not need to give any reason as to why a Poke Moderator is removed. Admins hold rights to dictate how Poke Moderators are doing their job and can step in if something breaks the rules or if Poke Moderators are being unfair or bias. Poke Moderators do not have the right to deny rewards to people for missions or to fail missions. Doing so will result in getting removed as a Poke Moderator with no money given to you before your Poke Moderator account is deleted. Poke Moderators can not "dangle" their position over other member's heads, mock, insult, or boss other people around. Poke Moderators are not staff nor will they ever be. Poke Moderators that exhibit this behavior will be removed swiftly and never be allowed to re-apply. Any member, staff or otherwise, can report to the admins about the behavior of any Poke Moderator. Threatening members behind site lines, on site, or anywhere to not report a Poke Moderator will result in the Poke Moderator getting removed with heavy punishment. The admins have the right to edit this disclaimer at any time regardless of what it said before if the need arises.
